''Key to Success'' - DT layout for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm here to share with you my layout for the More Than Words blog.

Here is our challenge board...

Word Inspiration - SUCCESS
Creative Challenge - KEY

''The key to SUCCESS is to hold on tight to your dreams'' is a quote that I strongly believe in. For the creative challenge I've added a metal KEY.

For my layout, I used the ''Paper No 04'' from the 49 and Market ''Vintage Remnants'' collection.

To start, I applied clear gesso on my paper and then I created texture with the Finnabair icing paste in White Gold and a stencil. When it was dried I rubbed the pattern with Rose Gold wax and I randomly made some stamping which I heat embossed with Lindy's Gang Cleopatra's Copper embossing power. I also used Lindy's Gang ''Peony Scarlet Red'' and ''Queen of Hearts Red'' sprays to add color.

Then, I primed all the molds with black gesso and when they dried I colored them with the Lindy's sprays I used on the background and Finnabair waxes Rose Gold and Brushed Iron.
To build my cluster I used lots of gorgeous 49 and Market flowers from Blossom Blends, Cottage and Country Blooms sets. I've also added some Mitform Castings metals which I painted with Rose Gold wax.

When everything was glued down, I added micro and glass beads along with glitter.

Thank you so much for your time!

''Let Life Surpize You'' - DT layout for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm here to share with you my layout for the More Than Words blog.

Here is our challenge board...

Word Inspiration - COSTUME
Creative Challenge - BLACK BACKGROUND

For the word inspiration COSTUME, I chose a photo of a lady in a red and black mask which I love. I decided to give a mysterious feel to my page as on the photo. I love working on BLACK BACKGROUNDS so this creative challenge was definitely one of my favorites.

For my layout, I used the ''Dreamy '' paper from the 7Dots Studio ''Homegrown'' collection.

To start, I applied clear gesso on my paper and then I created texture with the Finnabair graphite paste and a stencil. I heat embossed the pattern with the Lindy's Gang Gilded Burgundy Brass embossing powder and when it was ready I rubbed the pattern with Brushed Iron wax.

Then, I used the Finnabair icing paste Old Silver with another stencil to add more texture. When dried, I randomly made some stamping and I added color with the Lindy's Gang ''Steel Shimmer'' and ''Silent Night Silver'' sprays.

I painted the frame from the Dusty Attic ''ATC Frame #7'' and the ''Ornate Pendant #5'' with the Finnabair Sparks Raven Black acrylic paint.

To build my cluster I used lots of gorgeous 49 and Market flowers from the Blossom Blends and the Country Blooms sets.

When everything was glued down, I added micro and glass beads in black and silver along with glitter.

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm here to share with you my layout for the More Than Words blog.

Word Inspiration - ORIGINS
Creative Challenge - YOUR COUNTRY COLORS

The word inspiration ORIGINS inspired me to create a page with a photo of my country Greece using COLORS which represent our flag, white and blue. The photo shows one of our islands. I've also added flowers in pink which represent the flowers blooming in the Summer. I hope that I've given you a little taste of my country of Greece.

For my layout, I used the ''Seaside Cottage'' paper from the 49 and Market ''Seaside'' mini collection.

To start, I applied clear gesso on my paper and then I created texture with the Finnabair paper paste and a stencil. When dried, I added color with the Lindy's Gang ''Hydrangea Blue'' and the ''Tweedle Dee Denim'' sprays.

I heat embossed the Dusty Attic ''Mystic Frame #2'' and the chipboard titles with the Lindy's ''Purely White'' embossing powder.

Hello dear friends!

Word Inspiration - HAPPINESS
Creative Challenge - SKETCH

This month's challenge inspired me to create a page with 2 bridal photos which to me always represent happy moments in life. I used the word HAPPINESS in the quote and I loved using the SKETCH as basis for my composition.

For my layout, I used the ''Torn'' paper from the 7dots Studio ''Writer's Block'' collection.

To start, I applied clear gesso on my paper and then I created texture with the Finnabair White Gold icing paste and a stencil. When dried, I added color with the Lindy's Gang ''dark Chocolate Truffle'' spray.

I heat embossed the chipboard piece from the Dusty Attic ''Skeleton Clock Faces'' with the Lindy's ''Bratwurst Brown'' embossing powder and then I gently rubbed a little Finnabair White Gold wax.

To build my cluster I used lots of gorgeous 49 and Market flowers.

When everything was glued down, I added art stones along with glass beads and glitter.

''Explore Dream Discover'' - DT layout for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm here to share with you my layout for the More Than Words blog.

Here is our challenge board...

Word Inspiration - DISCOVER
Creative Challenge - OLD STASH

"Life is a journey towards the unknown, so get out on the way with a dream. At every step, wonder, explore, DISCOVER, and amaze." I don't remember who said that, but since I've read it I've kept it in mind. My canvas is based on this quote, and for the creative challenge, I used some pearls and lace from my OLD STASH.

To start, I covered the canvas with white gesso and when it was dried I created texture by applying graphite texture paste through a stencil and heat embossed the pattern with the Lindy's Stamp Gang Midnight Bronze powder.

I added color with the ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' Lindy's spray. I used several 49 and Market stamps to make my background more interesting.

I used the Finnabair Sparks ''Steampunk Copper'' acrylic paint to color the Dusty Attic ''Skeleton Clock Face'' chipboard which I placed behide my composition. Next, I made several layers with lots of beautiful 49 and Market flowers and die cut shapes from the Vintage Remnants collection.

When everything was glued down, I added pearls, beads and sprinkled a little glitter on them.

That was all from me my friends!

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm here to share with you my layout for the More Than Words blog.

Here is our challenge board...

 Word Inspiration - FAVORITE
Creative Challenge - SCRAPLIFT YOURSELF

I chose to SCRAPLIFT my fave canvas which I made about a year ago. I used a different photo, but I kept the same design and colour palette as it's one of my FAVORITE colour combos.

Here is the original...

...and some close ups of the new one...

To start, I covered the canvas with white gesso and then, I applied some white crackle paste here and there to created more texture.

I added color with the ''Whale Watch Blue'' Lindy's Gang spray. I made a little stamping and then heat embossed the pattern with the ''Midnight Bronze'' Lindy's powder.

I used the Finnabair Sparks ''Magical Pond'', ''Ice Queen'' and ''Steampunk Copper'' acrylic paints to color the resin frame. I finished it up with some ''Bronze Age'' wax. I treated the same way all the Dusty Attic chipboards I added.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones, beads and sprinkled a little blue glitter on them.

That was all from me my friends!
