''Wonder'' - DT Canvas with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for Mixed Media Place Blog

Hello dear friends and welcome on the blog!

Today I'm up on the Mixed Media Place blog and I would like to show you my latest project and I have also prepared a step by step Video Tutorial. This time I made a mixed media canvas with lots of Finnabair mixed media products and embellishments.

You can watch my creative process in my video below!

I started by applying White Crackle paste and when it was dried and the crackles were shown, I applied Finnabair Paper paste through the ''Swirly Florals'' stencil and heat embossed the pattern to make it more visible.

Then, I primed all the resin elements with Black Gesso and painted them with Finnabair Spark and Mettalique acrylic paints. The chipboard were also treated the same way.
When everything was dried I arranged all the elements around my photo and made several layers with flowers, resin and metal embellishments.

To finish the layout, I added glass beads and glitter with soft matte gel along with some glitter for more shine.

''Imagine… Believe…'' - DT layout for 49 and Market May Inspiration Part 2

Hello dear friends and welcome back on the blog!

Today, I am up on 49 and Market blog and I have to share my latest project created with the Vintage Remnants collection and gorgeous flowers in Sea Breeze and Linen tones.

This time I decided to make something different and out of my comfort zone so I used a frame as a base of my project which is so similar to the frame on the photo. I have to admit that I really enjoyed it a lot and I hope you like it too.

For the background, I used the ”Paper No 10” sheet and started by priming the paper with clear gesso. When the gesso was dried, I added some texture with Finnabair icing paste in White Gold and a stencil and continued by coloring with Lindy’s Gang spray in Midnight Rendezvous Raven color.

Some of the resin elements were colored with Finnabair acrylic paint in Steampunk Copper and randomly applied White Gold wax. The rest of them were first primed with black gesso and then colored with Mystic Turquoise and White Gold waxes.

The Dusty Attic ”Leafy Frame No 2” chipboard was primed with black gesso and colored with Finnabair Opal Magic Aqua-Rose paint. Mystic Turquoise and White Gold waxes highlighted some details on them. The ”Clockworks” chipboard was painted with Finnabair Sparks Raven Black acrylic paint and White Gold wax.

Next, I added several gorgeous flowers from Seaside Blooms, Blossom Blends, and Garden Seeds in Sea Breeze and Linen tones. Then I arranged all the elements around my photo by making several layers with all of them.

To finish, I added glass and microbeads along with glitter for more shine.

''Memories Captured'' - DT layout for 49 and Market May Inspiration Part 1

Hello and welcome back my friends!

Today, I am back on 49 and Market blog with my first post for May. This time I used the beautiful Old School Mini collection and I have to admit that I haven’t used it many times yet. But now I realize how beautifully these papers match with all kinds of photos and I can’t wait to do another project with these papers.

For my background, I used the ”High Schools” sheet with its grunginess background and started by priming the paper with clear gesso. When the gesso was dried, I added in some texture with Finnabair paper paste and a stencil and then I heat embossed the pattern with a Lindy’s EP in Bratwurst Brown color. Continued with a second stencil and graphite paste this time to create a second layer of pastes. Then, I made a randomly stamping with the ”Pascale’s Rations ” and ”1787 Stamp Set by Pascale Bernard”.

The resin elements were colored with Finnabair Sparks acrylic paint in Magical Pond and randomly applied Bronze Age wax. The chipboard from the archival board Memory Captured was also painted with the Finnabair Sparks Raven Black and Rustic Brown acrylic paints.

Next, I added in some Mitform Castings and several gorgeous flowers from several sets like Stargazers, Country Blooms, Garden seeds, and Seaside Blooms sets in blue, yellow, and green tones. Then it was the fun part, to arrange all the elements around my photo by making several layers with all of them.

To finish, I added art stones, glass beads along with glitter for more shine.
