''Create Art'' - DT Mixed Media Tag for Scrap N Pieces Blog March Challenge

Hello dear friends!
This month’s challenge is so inspiring and creative! We choose two elements that you love.

''Tags and Numbers''

This is a great opportunity to make something with all those clothes tags you’ve been stashing for so long. To be honest, I haven’t been stashing clothes tags, so I decided to create my own by cutting them out of cardstock with a die

First, I applied a layer of white gesso over the tags, and after that was dry I glued the smaller ones on top of the bigger ones, to create some layers.

Then, I applied white crackle paste and sand paste in some areas in order to create a variety of textures on the background. I also did some stamping and heat embossing with Lindy’s Gang embossing powder.

I sprayed several times with Lindy’s Gang sprays, until I got the result I wanted. I dried well between layers.
I used Finnabair and Rust Εffect pastes on the chipboards and numbers.
For my cluster, I used metal embellishments and numbers. I glued everything with heavy body gel and used some acrylic paints to accent certain details. Lastly, I used soft matte gel to add mica flakes, glass beads and glitter. A few splashes with white acrylic ink and my tag was ready.

''Go With Your Heart'' - DT layout for 49 and Market March Inspiration

Hello there and welcome to my blog!

Today, I'm up on the 49 and Market blog sharing my new layout made with my favorite “Vintage Remnants” Collection and Laser Cut Frame Sets. These papers are so amazingly beautiful and they inspired me to create another romantic, vintage page.

As my main paper, I used “Vintage Remnants: Paper No 02” and I layered my composition with several Laser Cut Shapes from the same collection. To start, I applied clear gesso and did some stenciling work with the Finnabair Golden Nugget paste.

Next, I added in some gorgeous flowers in aloe and white shades around my photo and used art stones and glitter to highlight my flowers even more.

''Happiness'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog March Moodboard

  Hello lovelies!

Today, I'm back with a new layout for the Dusty Attic blog which was made with lots of beautiful chipboards and flowers based on the March moodboard.

I used the color palette and inspired by the photo I made a page with some nature elements such as the wood slice chippies and the beautiful chipboard poppies.

I used the Paper No1 from the 49 and Market Vintage Remnats collection for my background and I created texture with the Finnabair Golden Nugget paste and a stencil. Then, I added color with a Lindy's spray and made some random stamping.

Next, I painted the chipboards from the ''Foliage #13'' with the Finnabair Golden Moss acrylic paint.

The ''Wood Slices'', the ''Mini Bird Cages #1'' and the ''Decorative Frame #4 Small'' were also painted  with the Finnabair Rustic Brown paint.

I've also used the Finnabair Royal Red paint to color the ''Poppies'' chipboards too.

As a title I choose the word Happiness from the ''Wordpl@y #2 BLACK''.

When everything was glued down I added some art stones and made splatters with white ink.

''Captured'' - DT Layout with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for The Dusty Attic and Maja Design March Inspiration

Hello dear friends!
I'm back tonight to share a new layout with a video tutorial made for my March inspiration over at the Dusty Attic and on the Maja Design blogs.

To create my page I used papers from the gorgeous ”I Wish” & ''Joyous Winterdays'' collections along with some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboards which was placed around a photo I found on Pinterest. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

You can watch all the procedure here…

I used the ”I wish those memories will last” paper from the ”I Wish” collection and I made some layers behind my photo with the ”Evergreen” and the ”Outdoors” papers from the ”Joyous Winterdays” collection.

To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso on the background. Then, I created texture with graphite paste and a stencil and heat emboss the pattern with the Wow metallic Platinum Sparkle embossing powder. Made some stamping here and there and used Lindy’s Gang sprays to add color.

Next, I embossed the ”Chain Circles” & the ”Ornate Corner #13” chipboard pieces with the Aged Ivory Stampendous embossing powder.

Continued with the ”Foliage #8” & ”Foliage #9” chippies which were painted with the Finnabair Golden Moss acrylic paint. The ”Window & Shutters #2” and the ”Wordpl@y3” pieces were also painted with the Finnabair Rustic Brown paint.

When everything was glued down I added some art stones and glass beads. The final touch was made with some splatters with white acrylic ink.
