''Gorgeous'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog May Moodboard

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic blog sharing with you my layout which was inspired by our gorgeous moodboard.

I was inspired by the beautiful color palette, the laces and the photos of the flowers and I used lots of them on my project and tried to give an elegant feeling.

Here are some detailed photos...

For my background, I used the ''Sunrise'' paper from the ''Dreamscapes'' 7dots Studio collection. I created texture by applying modeling paste through the ''Chicken Wire'' stencil and then, I added colour with the ''Bayou Boogie Gold'' and the ''Cape Cod Coral'' Lindy's Gang sprays.

I continued by painting the ''Swirly Vine #5'' and the ''Foliage #10'' chipboards with the Finnabair ''Golden Moss'' acrylic paint.

The chipboards from the ''Iron Accents #1'' and the ''Iron Garnish #2'' along with the title from the ''Hashtag Sayings #2'' set, were also painted with the Finnabair ''Fresh Orange'' acrylic paint.

To finish, I added art stones and some white glitter and made splatters with white acrylic ink.

Hello dears!

Today, I'm back to share with you a tag made for the More Than Words Mini Challenge.

The word of this month's challenge is ''Keep''.

Some close ups...

To start, I applied I coat of black gesso on the black cardstock and to all the embellishments. Then, I made some mixed media on the background with modeling paste and a stencil and heat embossed the pattern with the ''Midnight Teal'' Lindy's Gang embossing powder. For more shine, I added a little ''Teal'' mica powder on the background.

Next, I made some stamping here and there and to give more interest I heat embossed again the pattern with the ''King Midas Gold'' Lindy's powder.

When everything was glued down, I painted my combosition with the Finnabair Metallique ''Emerald Green'' and the Spark ''Dragon's Eye'' acrylic paints. I finished up with some waxes on ''Turquoise Satin'', ''White Gold'' and ''Vintage Gold'' colors.

The final touch was made by added some ''Turquoise'' glass beads along with some ''Copper'' and ''Platinum'' glass glitter. Some splatters with white acrylic ink and my tag was ready.

''Imagine'' - DT Layout for Maja Design May Inspiration

Hello dear friends!

Tonight I'm up on the Maja Design blog sharing my latest layout for my May inspiration. This time I made a colorful page with lots of flowers, laces, chipboards and metal embellishments and I choose a dark paper to combine them. I don't really remenber if I have already told how much I love that combination. The contrast is just amazing!

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that beautiful photo. And, the new gorgeous ”Celebration” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the ”Ephemera” paper on the back side. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso and I applied a small amount of white gesso behinde my combosition. When it was dried, I added some texture with paper texture paste and a stencil.

I made some stamping here and there and then I heat embossed the patterns with the ''Venus Violet Blue'' and the ''Sunset Yellow Orange'' Lindy's Gang embossing powders. Continued by coloring my page with the ”Tea Pot Purple” and the ”Magnolia Magenta Gold” Lindy’s sprays.

I painted the ''Small Scroll #2'' flourish chipboard with the Sparks ”Iris Potion” acrylic paint.  The ”Clockworks Small” chipboard was also painted with the metallique ”Steampunk Copper” paint. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and sprinkled some glitter on them. The final touch was made with some splatters with white ink.

''Memories'' - DT Canvas for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello my dears!

I'm back tonight to share with you my project for More Than Words challenge blog.
This month we have a very interesting and so inspiring challenge.

Word Inspiration - MEMORIES
Creative Challenge - FRAME

"A life without MEMORIES... that's no life at all!" I chose to use that quote on my project because I do believe that to be true. Memories are the treasures of our lives. For the creative challenge, I have used a large resin FRAME.

Here are some close ups...

To start, I covered the canvas with white gesso. Then, I applied some white crackle paste here and there and then I created more texture with modeling paste and a stencil.

I added color with the ''Whale Watch Blue'' Lindy's Gang spray. I made a little stamping and then heat embossed the pattern with the ''Midnight Bronze'' Lindy's powder.

I used the Finnabair Sparks ''Magical Pond'', ''Mermaid Sparkle'' and ''Steampunk Copper''  acrylic paints to color the resin frame. After that, I gently rubbed on it with a small brush some ''Bronze Age'' wax. I treated the same way all the Dusty Attic chipboards I added.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and sprinkled a little blue glitter on them.
