''Live inspired'' - DT layout with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for Mixed Media Place Blog

 Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm up on the Mixed Media Place blog and I would love to show you my latest layout which is made with 7 Dots Studio papers and a lot of Finnabair products!

You can watch my creative process in my video below!

For my background, I used the Underpaper paper from the Paint Chips collection. I started by applying clear gesso and then I made some stenciling work using two different stencils, one with modeling paste and the second one with the Dark Brown paste from the Metal Rust Set. Then, I made a little stamping and added color with  sprays.

I heat embossed the chipboard and I gently applied wax in Rose Gold.

Continued by priming with black gesso the moulds and sprayed them with several sprays. When dried, I again applied wax in Rich Copper.

After I glued everything down and made my composition I added glass beads and glitter with soft gloss gel.

''Look for the Magic'' - DT layout for 49 and Market February Inspiration Part 2

Hello friends and welcome back to the blog!

Today I’m up on the 49 and market blog with a new layout featuring one of my favorite collections the ”Vintage Remnants” and it’s assorted Laser Cut shapes.

For my background, I used the ''Paper No 1'' and started by priming the paper with clear gesso. When it was dried, I added texture with Finnabair Paper Paste and then I heat embossed the pattern with Lindy’s Gang ''Midnight Copper'' embossing powder. Continued with a randomly stamping with the stamp ''1787''. Then, I used the Lindy’s Gang spray ''Sea Grass Green'' to add some color to the background.

This time I colored all the resin elements with Finnabair waxes Rich Cooper, White Gold, and Vintage Gold. The chipboards from the ''Memory Captured'' Archival Board were first painted with black gesso and then also colored with the Opal Magic Green Brocade wax. This way I achieved to have the same tones with my photo and the result amazed me.

Next, I used some gorgeous flowers from the Stargazers and Garden Seeds sets in Cashmere and Linen tones and I made several layers with all the elements around my photo. The metal embellishments made my photo look like it was extended to the composition.

To finish I added wishing Bubbles in Crush and glass beads along with glitter for more shine.

''Such a Great Day to Remember'' - DT layout for 49 and Market February Inspiration Part 1

Hello dear friends!
I hope you are all doing well. Today, I’m back with a new layout for 49 and Market which is featuring the Capture Adventures Collections and it’s assorted Laser Cut shapes. The background of these papers is so amazing! Always love working with so beautifully patterned papers!

I used the ''Eclectic Pieces'' paper and started by priming the background with clear gesso. When it was dried, I made some stenciling work with Finnabair snowflake paste and also made a randomly stamping using stamps from the ''Captured Adventure stamp set 2''. I added color on the background with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays Hydrangea Blue and Tea Pot Purple.

Then, I used the same Lindy’s Gang sprays to color the resin elements which I first had painted with white gesso. Finnabair Brushed Iron wax gave them depth and emphasized all the details.

Next, I painted the Dusty Attic Fancy Frames #2 with the Finnabair Silver Spoon acrylic paint and the title from the Mini Caption #11 with the White Pearl paint. I then used gorgeous flowers from the Blossom Blends, Garden Seeds, Stargazers and Mini Series sets in purple and white colors and I did lots of layering with of all the elements around my photo.

To finish, I added art stones, glass beads and glitter for more shine. The final touch was made with some splatters with white gesso diluted with water.
