''Imagine'' - A Layout for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

''Imagine''

And this is my second layout for 2Crafty Chipboard... a monochromatic mystery and imaginary one this time...

Here you can see how I made it...

2crafty chipboards used on this layout...
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Angel Wings
6" Clock Face Frames
ATC Words 1

I based it on three challenges...

I used the ''Flirty'' paper from ''Homegrown'' 7dots Studio collection. I applied Graphite texture paste with a stencil and colored my background with the ''Brushed Nickel'' and ''Midnight Rendezvous Raven'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists. I also made some slpatters with 13arts Silver Splash ink.

I heat embossed the ''Angel Wings'' chipboard, which I cut in half, with ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' and then I sprinkled some Finnabair Art Sugar in ''White'' to make them sparkle. The title and the little stars chippies were treated the same way with the wings chipboards.

The clock frame was also heat embossed with ''Midnight Pewter'' Lindy's embossing powder.

The flowers and the embellishments are Prima and the metal tag is from Tim Holtz philosophy tags.

I hope I gave you a little inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

''Precious Moments'' - A Layout for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

''Precious Moments''

Hello my friends!
Today i will share with you two layouts and two video tutorials, I made for September Inspiration at 2Crafty Chipboard.

In this post you will see the first one, which is a romantic vintage layout designed on a dark gray paper from the ''Salvage District'' Prima collection filled with lots of flowers.

I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure.

I based this layout on the September challenges over at Prima Marketing PPP
and at More Than Words challenge blog.

I used the following 2crafty chipboards...
Marianne's Butterflies
 Lina's Swirl
Flourish Adornment Set 4
Precious - Loopy Font

I highlighted my dark background paper with some white gesso and then I used ''Tea Pot Purple'' and ''Open Arms Amethyst'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists to add some color to it.

I painted the flourish chipboards with ''Rich Turquoise''
and the Lina's Swirl with the ''Dark Velvet'' Finnabair acrylic paints.

The title and the little butterfy chipboards were heat embossed
with ''Gilded Burgundy Brass'' Lindy's embossing powder.

I also used a small curved leftover chipboard from the ''Circle Revolution Frames''.

Well, that was all for the first. Stay tuned for the second one!

Thank you for visiting!

''Always and Forever'' - Layout for Maja Design with a Video Tutorial

Hello Maja funs!

I have a new layout to share with you today. I made a mixed media vintage page using two different collections... ''Vintage Summer Basics'' and ''Vintage Autumn Basics''.

I have also made a Video Tutorial…

As I always do I found this beautiful and romantic photo on Pinterest. So I want to give to the photographer all the proper credits.

This photo is so romantic and inspired me to make a soft romantic layout.

For my background I choose the ''1916'' paper from ''Vintage Summer Basics'' collection and behind my photo I placed some teared pieces from ''1915'' and ''1932'' papers to make some layers.

At first, I gave my paper a coat of clear gesso and then I added some white gesso where I wanted to place my photo. I added some texture to my background with a light paste and two stencils. Then, I used Lindy's Stamp Gang mists, ''Delphinium Turquoise'' and ''Baby Blue Eyes Aqua'' with some water to make a watercolor effect on my background.

I sprayed my flowers with ''Blazing Sun'' Lindy's Glitz Spritz to make them shine. Then, I made a fussy cutting on some clocks from Vintage Autumn Basics ''No XVI'' paper and added them to my clusters.

All the chipboards I used are 2Crafty. I colored the two flourish pieces with ''Deep Waters'' Finnabair acrylic paint and the ''Forever'' title was heat embossed with ''Golden Angel Wings'' Lindy's embossing powder.

Well, that's all for today...

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope I gave you a little bit of inspiration!

''Remember'' - An Altered Notebook

 Hello there!
This time I deside to try something new for me... an altered notebook cover. I saw a challenge over at The Creative Studio which is about ''Do the Planning'' and said why not? Let's give it a try and alter a notebook cover.
It was a big challenge for me to work on black background and acrylic paints.

I have watched Marta Lapkowska's video tutorials with this technique but hadn't tried until now... Marta can't thank you enough for the inspiration!

Here are some close ups...

I used Royal Red, Emerald Green and Fresh Orange Acrylic Paints, 2Crafty chipboards, Finnabair Mechanicals and Tim Holtz Pen Nibs.

Thanks for stopping by...

''Amazing'' - My first DT layout for Maja Design with a Video Tutorial

Hello my friends!
This is my very first post for Maja Design as a design team member and I'm so excited to share it with you!
Maja design has amazingly beautiful papers and designing with them is like a dream come true to me! I'm so very thankful to Camilla and Marie for having me in the team and for the their trust in me!

Well, here is my layout...

I found my photo on Pinterest but unfortunately I don't know who the photographer is...
...so I want to give to the ''unknow'' photographer all the credits.

For the background I have used the ''Greenery'' paper from ''Summertime'' Collection. I just loved that paper and matched so well with my photo.

I also have made a Video Tutorial...

...and some detailed photos...

I added texture to the background with a light paste mixed with ''Gold Opal Magic'' mica powder and applied it through a stencil. Then I used the ''Edelweiss Moss Green'' and the ''Peony Scarlet Red'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mist to give some colour. Some stamps and my background was ready.

Behind my photo, I made two layers using both sides of the ''Taste the Strawberries'' paper from the same collection. I distress the edges with a scissor to give them a vintage look.

The green flowers were misted with the same mist I used for my background.
Oh, I wish I could show you how shiny they are.

All the chipboards I used are from 2Crafty Chipboard. I painted the florar chipboard with ''Metallique Emerald Green'' Finnabair acrylic paint. The title was heat embossed with ''Terra Cotta Rust'' Lindy's stamp Gang embossing powder.
I finished my layout by adding some gems and some ''Bronze'' micro beads.
