''Precious Memories'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog August Moodboard

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic blog sharing with you a layout which was made for our
 August moodboard.

The beautiful photos of the board inspired me to create a soft romantic layout in blue and beige shades using some of our beautiful chipboards and lots of roses.

 Some detailed photos...

I used some 7Dots Studio papers for my background and created some texture by applying modeling paste through a stencil. Then, I added color with the a Finnabair Ice Queen acrylic paint.

I continued by painting the ''Lacey Frame Small'' and the title words from the ''Mini Words #1'' and the ''Mini Words #2'' with the same acrylic paint I colored my page.

The ''Boho Feathers'' were also painted with the Finnabair White Pearl acrylic paint.

When everything was glued down I added some pearls and glass beads and made some splatters with white gesso.

''Memories Made at the Beach Last a Lifetime'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog

Hello everyone!

I'm back tonight to share with you my latest layout, a soft romantic beach themed I created for my August inspiration at the Dusty Attic blog.

I used a paper from the ''Cherry Blossom'' Prima Marketing collection and I started by applying clear gesso on the background. Then I used the ''Fishnet Stencil'' with modelling paste to create some texture.

I added some color with the Frozen Berries acrylic paint from Finnabair and made a little random stamping.

I painted the ''Mini Shells'', the ''Seaweed #1'', the ''Doodads #5'' and the title chipboards with the same acrylic paint I used on my background.

The ''Port Holes Small'' and the ''Life Buoy'' chipboards were also painted with the Ice Queen acrylic paint.

''Believe in Daydreams'' - DT Layout for Maja Design August Inspiration

Hello everyone!
Tonight I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I would like to share with you a layout for my August inspiration.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that photo. And, the beautiful papers from the ”Vintage Romance” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the back side of the ”Ephemera Cards” paper and I made one layer on it with the ”Marriage Proposal” paper. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil.

I used the ''Chateau Rose'' and the ''Merci Beaucoup Mint'' Lindy’s Gang sprays to color my page and made some stamping here and there.

I heat embossed the ''ATC Frame #7” chipboard with the ''Pop Rock Purple'' Lindy's powder. The ''Doodads #6'' chipboard was also embossed with the ''Madonna Robe Blue Gold'' powder. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and glitter and I made the final touch with some splatters with white gesso.

''Stronger Than Yesterday'' - DT Canvas for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends!

I'm back today to share with you my project for the August challenge at More Than Words blog.

Here is our challenge board...

Word Inspiration - YESTERDAY
Creative Challenge - VINTAGE

I love creating vintage-style projects, and this month's word inspired me to make a canvas with an old photo of a beautiful young woman who lived in the 1900's. I used a sticker that states ''Stronger than YESTERDAY''. I added a fancy antique frame and some lace flowers as part of the VINTAGE creative challenge.

Here are some close ups...

To start, I covered the canvas with clear gesso. Then, I created texture with crackle paste and a stencil and made some stamping here and there.

I added some color with the ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' and the ''Clam Bake Beige'' Lindy's Gang sprays.

I used the Finnabair ''Rustic Brown'' and the ''Steampunk Copper'' acrylic paints to color the resin frame. After that, I gently rubbed on it with a small brush some ''White Gold'' and ''Rose Gold'' waxes. I've also treated the same way all the Dusty Attic chipboards too.

When everything was glued down, I added some Copper Glass Glitter and Bronze Micro Beads and sprinkled a little glitter too.
To finish, I made some splatters with white gesso diluted with some water.

That was all from me my friends!

Thank you so much for your time!
