''Evermore'' - Mixed Media Acetate Tag for Lindy's Stamp Gang DT with a VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hi there sweeties!

Today I'm up on the Lindy's Stamp Gang blog and I’m going to show you how you can make an acetate tag.

Acetate can give you an impressive result! It has an amazing way of showing the shine of the sprays! Although, is a little bit difficult to work with it.

Well, let’s see - let me show you all how I created this tag.

I started by mixing modeling paste, 3D small balls, Pop Rock Purple and Rasberry Lemonade Lindy’s Magicals. In this step you have to be careful with the mixture which is have to be a little bit thick or solid, otherwise, it will begin to leak under the stencil.

Then, I applied the mixture on the tag through a stencil and let it dry naturally.

While I was waiting for the pattern to dry, I heat embossed the circle panel chipboard pieces with the Queen Sheba’s Silver embossing powder.

I also heat embossed the leafy rounds chipboards with the Oakleaf Olive embossing powder.

I colored the tag by splattering it with Pop Rock Purple and Edelweiss Moss Green sprays and let it dry naturally.

When everything were glued down, I added some licorice glass beads with gel medium and made some splashes with white acrylic artists ink.

Here are some close-ups so you can see all the details.

Don’t the little spots of spray look lovely on the clear acetate.

I have also made a video tutorial with the procedure.

''Summer Fun'' - GD Layout for Cuts2luv June's Moodboard

Hello my dear friends!
Today, is my turn to share with you my layout for Cuts2luv June's challenge.

The moodboard is so fresh with a summery feeling and as summer has already come here in Greece, I made a summery layout in blue and yellow tones totally inspired by the beautiful board.

This is the moodboard...

I used all the elements of the board... the sketch, the color palette, the title, a sunny photo, a polka dot pattern and thread.

Here are some close ups of my layout...

For my background I used the ''Narwhal'' paper from the ''Dreamscapes'' 7dots Studio collection.

I primed my background with white gesso and when it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I colored my page by using Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays ''Blue Hawaiian Blue'' and ''Delphinium Turquoise''. I also colored some flowers with the ''Pineapple Paradise'' spray to make them match with the moodboard colors.

I heat embossed the ''Fishing Net Bit'' chipboards with the ''Bavarian Blue'' Lindy’s embossing powder. The title and the ''Word Circle'' chippies were also embossed with the ''Yodeling Yellow'' powder. All the chipboards I used are 2Crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing.

To finish, I added some art stones with gel medium and made some splatters with white acrylic artists ink.
