''Escape'' - A DT Layout for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

Hello my dear friends!

Today, I want to share with you two projects and two video tutorials I made for my July Inspiration at 2Crafty Chipboard.

The first one is a layout designed with papers from the ''Wild and Free'' Prima Marketing collection, several Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and powders and some Scrap-Unlimited embellishments. The flowers I used are also Prima Marketing.


I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure.

Some close ups...

For my background I used the ''Into the Wild'' paper from the ''Wild and Free'' collection.

  I created texture on my background by applying modeling paste through a stencil.
When dried, I used ''Cattail Copper Brown'' and ''Bayou Boogie Gold'' Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to color my page.

I heat embossed the ''Circle Dot Frame'', the ''Leafy Shrub Set 2'' chipboards and the title from the ''Mini Word Set 1''  with ''Byzantine Bronze'' Lindy's powder.

To finish, I added some Bronze micro beads and Plum Glass Glitter with gel medium and made some splatters with white acrylic artist ink.

The second layout was made with Prima Marketing papers from the ''Love Clippings'' collection,
Prima Marketing flowers and some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and powders.

And a closer look at the details...

To start, I applied on my paper some white gesso.
Then, I created texture on the background with modeling paste and a stencil.
For more interest, I mixed some Light paste with the ''Autumn Maple Crimson''
Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical and I also applied the mixture through a stencil on my paper.

 Then, I added some color with the ''Pineapple Paradise'' Lindy's Stamp Gang spray.

  I heat embossed the chippies from the ''Mini Flourish Bits'', the title from the ''Mini Word Set 1''
and the ''Ada's Flourishes'' chipboards with ''Gilded Burgundy Brass'' Lindy's embossing powder.

 When everything was glued down, I added some Art Stones with gel medium.

I based my page on the Mixed Media & Art March challenge.

 

And a closer look at the details...

I gave texture on the background with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I used ''Baby Blue Eyes Aqua'', ''Blue Hawaiian Blue'' and ''Hydrangea Blue'' Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to color my page.

I heat embossed the ''Leafy Shrub Set 3'' and the title chipboards with ''Midnight Pewter'' Lindy's powder. The ''Lattice Leaves'' were embossed with ''Oakleaf Olive'' and the little ''Butterflies'' with ''Silver Moon Orchid''.

To finish, I added some Art Stones with gel medium.
