''With Brave Heart She Flies'' - DT tag for Nomadic Soul Diaries October Inspiration

Hello everyone!

Today, I’m up to share a new layout for Nomadic Soul Diaries inspired by the board of this month:

This month's challenge is to create a Tag or Altered Object using at least 3 colors from the pallet, adding the mandatory element LEAVES and getting inspired by the quote. We can use the quote as a sentiment or explain us how the quote inspired you.

I hope I inspired you to join us in the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

''A Glimpse of Life'' - DT layout for 49 and Market July Inspiration Part 1

Hello dear friends and welcome back on the blog today!

I'm up on 49 and Market with a new post for July. I used the Vintage Artistry Lilac collection and several gorgeous flowers along with its assorted laser-cut shapes and I made a vintage layout in lilac and parchment tones. I enjoyed working with this collection and I hope you enjoy it too.

For my background, I used the backside of the cover and started by priming the paper with clear gesso. When the gesso was dried, I added in some texture with Finnabair icing paste and a stencil. Then, I made a randomly stamping with the ”Pascale’s Rations ” and ”1787 Stamps, and I used Lindy’s Gang Tea Pot Purple spray to add some color.

The Dusty Attic chipboards were colored with Finnabair Sparks acrylic paint in Iris Potion and Rustic Brown. Then I randomly applied Amethyst Magic and Brushed Iron wax. Next, I added some gorgeous flowers from several sets like Enchanted, Garden Petals, and Mini-Series 01 sets in violet, twilight, and parchment tones. Then it was the fun part, to arrange all the elements around my photo by making several layers with all of them. Wishing Bubbles in Grape Soda were added to complete my composition.

To finish, I added art stones, glass beads along with glitter for more shine. Splatters with white acrylic paint diluted with water finished off my page.

49 and Market products:

Vintage Artistry Lilac 12×12 Collection Pack

Enchanted Petals – Parchment

Garden Petals – Parchment

Garden Petals – Twilight

Flower Mini Series 01 – Violet

Pascale’s Rations Stamp Set (4×6)

1787 Stamp Set by Pascale Bernard (4×6)

Wishing Bubbles – Grape Soda

Well, that’s all for today, my friends! I do hope you have enjoyed your visit!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

''Wonder'' - DT Canvas with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for Mixed Media Place Blog

Hello dear friends and welcome on the blog!

Today I'm up on the Mixed Media Place blog and I would like to show you my latest project and I have also prepared a step by step Video Tutorial. This time I made a mixed media canvas with lots of Finnabair mixed media products and embellishments.

You can watch my creative process in my video below!

I started by applying White Crackle paste and when it was dried and the crackles were shown, I applied Finnabair Paper paste through the ''Swirly Florals'' stencil and heat embossed the pattern to make it more visible.

Then, I primed all the resin elements with Black Gesso and painted them with Finnabair Spark and Mettalique acrylic paints. The chipboard were also treated the same way.
When everything was dried I arranged all the elements around my photo and made several layers with flowers, resin and metal embellishments.

To finish the layout, I added glass beads and glitter with soft matte gel along with some glitter for more shine.

''Be Your Own Author'' - DT layout with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for Mixed Media Place Blog

Hello dear friends and welcome on the blog today!

I hope you and your families are healthy and strong. Today, I'm up on the Mixed Media Place blog with my latest layout and I have also prepared a step by step Video Tutorial. My layout is featuring the 7 Dots Studio ''Writer's Block'' collection and lots of Finnabair mixed media products.

You can watch my creative process in my video below!

For my background, I choose to use two papers the ''Inkwell'' and the ''Torn''. I made a layer with the second one on the bottom of the first and distressed all the edges. Just because I wanted to keep the background simple I didn't used many mixed media techniques. I only applied Finnabair Paper paste through the ''Ornate Lace'' stencil and then, I randomly stamped on the background using the ''Gothic Book'' stamp with a black archival ink.

Then, I painted all the resin elements and chipboard with Finnabair Patina Effect paste. When everything was dried I arranged them around my photo and made several layers with flowers and metal embellishments from Finnabair and Mitform Castings.

To finish the layout, I added glass beads and glitter with soft matte gel along with some glitter for more shine.
