''Dreams'' - DT Canvas for Maja Design July Inspiration

Hello dears!
Tonight, I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I would like to share with you my project for my July inspiration. A soft romantic canvas on the shades of blue and beige with lots of flowers, chipboards and IOD moulds.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that photo. And, the beautiful papers from the ''Crea Diem'' collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I used the ''Må du leva och växa'' paper for the ''Crea Diem'' collection. To start, I glued down the papers and I applied a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil.

I made some random stamping and then I used the Baby Blue Eyes Aqua Lindy’s Gang spray to color my page.

I colored the ''Doodads #6'' and the ''Iron Garnish #6'' chipboard with the Raven Black sparks acrylic paint.  The ''Delicate Frame #3'' chipboard was also colored with the Magical Pond paint and the chipboard title with the White Pearl. The chipboards I used are from Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and I made the final touch with some splatters with white gesso diluted with some water.

''Beautiful Moments'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog July Moodboard

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic blog sharing with you which was made for our July's moodboard.

The red and blue combination along with the vintage photos inspired me to create a colorful layout using some of the new chipboards which was released in June.

Here are some detailed photos...

I used papers from the ''Summertime'' Maja Design paper collection. I created texture by applying modeling paste through a stencil. Because I wanted some contrast, I added some graphite paste with the ''ABC Stencil''. Then, I added color with the ''Queen of Hearts Red'' Lindy's Gang spray.

I continued by painting the ''Ornate Motifs #1'' with the Finnabair ''Deep Waters'' acrylic paint

The ''Iron Accents #1'' and the ''Iron Garnish #5'' were also painted with the Finnabair ''Royal Red'' acrylic paint. The two title words are from the ''Wordpl@y #2 BLACK'' set.

When everything was glued down I added some Dusty in Bloom ''Blue Bonnet''.

To finish, I added some art stones and made splatters with white gesso.

''Happiness is the Beauty of Little Things'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog

Hello everyone!

I'm back tonight to share with you my latest layout made for my July inspiration at the Dusty Attic blog.

I choose the ''9mm'' paper from the 7dots Studio Dreamscapes collection and I started by applying clear gesso on the background. Then I used a stencil with modelling paste and heat embossed the pattern with the ''Pop Rock Purple'' Lindy's Gang embossing powder to create some texture.

I added color with the ''Urban Amethyst'' and the ''Pop Rock Purple'' Lindy's sprays and made some splatters with white gesso diluted with water to soften a little bit the colors.

I painted the ''Lavender'' chipboards with the ''Iris Potion'' sparks acrylic paint.

The ''Creative Script'' and the chipboards from the ''Mini Tabs #5'' and the ''Page Pebbles #3'' were also painted with the ''Dragon's Eye'' sparks acrylic paint.

I glued everything down and added a few Dusty In Bloom ''Grassy Knoll'' along with the purple flowers to make some contrast.
