''Twinkling Lights'' - DT layout with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for Mixed Media Place Blog

Hello friends!
Today, I'm up on the Mixed Media Place blog and I would like to show you my new layout with a step by step video tutorial. A Christmassy layout in white and silver tones with lots of magic and sparkle. As usually I used my favorite Finnabair mixed media products and 7 Dots Studio papers.

You can watch my creative process in my video below!

I've used the Sugarplum paper from the Yuletide collection and to start I applied Finnabair clear gesso. Then, I made some stenciling work with the Northern Lights stencil and an icing paste - Old Silver. I made a bit of stamping and added some colour with Lindy's Gang sprays.

Continued by coloring the Dusty Attic chipboard with Silver Spoon acrylic paint and embossed the die cut shapes with Lindy's EP.

After I glued everything down and made my composition I added glass beads and glitter with soft gloss gel.

''Christmas Magic'' - DT layout for 49 and Market December Inspiration

Hello dear friends
I hope you are all well. Today, I'm up on the 49 and Market blog I would like to share with you a layout featuring the Winters Edge Collection with it’s assorted Laser Cut shapes. It’s the first time I’m using this collection and I really loved it! These papers are so magical…

I used the ”Snowdrift” paper and started by priming the background paper with clear gesso. When it was dried, I made some stenciling work with Finnabair icing paste in Frosty Pearl and also made a randomly stamping using stamps from the ”Gabi’s Ethereal” and ”Captured Adventure” stamp sets. I added color on the background with Lindy’s Gang spray Sea Grass Green.

Next, I painted the Dusty Attic Decorative Frame #5 with the Finnabair White Pearl acrylic paint. I then used gorgeous flowers from the Blossom Blends, Botanical Potpourri, and Wildflowers sets and make several layers of all the elements around my photo.

To finish I added art stones, glass beads and glitter for more shine. The final touch was made with some splatters with white gesso diluted with water.

Well that is all from me.

I hope you have enjoyed my layout today. Until next time happy creating!

''Fearless'' - DT layout for 49 and Market November Inspiration Part 2

Hello dear friends!
Today, I'm up on the 49 and Market blog with a new layout featuring the gorgeous Vintage Remnants Collection and its assorted laser cut shapes and beautiful flowers in the colors Linen and Marina.

For my background, I used ”Paper No 09” and started by priming my page with clear gesso. When it was dry, I added texture with Finnabair Graphite Paste and then I heat embossed the pattern with Lindy’s Gang Midnight Bronze embossing powder. Some White Gold wax was also ramped on the pattern to highlight the textured details.

I continued by randomly stamping with the 1787 Stamp Set by Pascale Bernard and Gabi’s Stoic Stamp. I added color on the background with Lindy’s Gang spray in Whale Watch Blue.

Then, it was time to color my Dusty Attic chipboards. I started with the Decorative Frame #1 and the Corner Flourish #6 which I painted with the Finnabair Rustic Brown acrylic paint. On the Juliette Balcony #3 chipboard I first applied Finnabair Pumice Stone Effect Paste along with some White Crackle paste and when it was dried and the crackles showed I painted with Impasto Paint in Dark Chocolate and again stamped White Gold wax to highlight the texture.

Next, I used some of the gorgeous flowers from the Blossom Blends, Cottage Blooms, and Botanical Potpourri in Linen and Marina and I made several layers of all the elements around my photo.

To finish, I added art stones, glass beads, and glitter to give a touch of shine.
