''Some Kind of Wonderful'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog

Hello dear friends!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic blog for my very first post. I'm so excited to finally show you my layout that I created for Dusty Attic using some of their fabulous products.

My page was inspired by the January's Moodboard which is so stunning!

Here are some close ups...

I created texture on my background by applying modeling paste through the Chicken Wire stencil. Then, I added colour with the Grab a Guy Gold Lindy's Gang spray.

I painted all the chipboards with the Finnabair sparks Dragon's Eye acrylic paint. Only the two pieces from the Lattice small panel were stamped with the Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I embellished my cluster with Dusty In Bloom Cornsilk flowers and some Prima Marketing along with laces and some Dusty Attic pearls.

As a final touch I added some Copper micro beads with gel medium.

''Angelic Soul'' - GD Layout for Mixed Media & Art Challenge Blog

Good evening dear friends!!!

Another one post for today, to share with... a new layout to show, made for Mixed Media & Art, as I was a winner of the October challenge in their blog...

Thank you for the great honour to be a guest designer in your blog. Hope you like it and give some inspiration too...

The moodboard is very beautiful. Soft colors and amazingly beautiful photos!

When I first saw the moodboard, I totaly loved it as it's so inspiring. The sketch is so simple and beautiful and the colors are so fresh and feminine. I choose to use a combination of pink, light green and yellow colors for my page as they were matching perfectly with my photo.

Here are some close ups...

I used paper from the ''Rose Quartz'' Prima Marketing collection to match with the beautiful photo I found on Pinterest.

To start, I covered my page with clear gesso and when it was dried I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I used the ''Cotton Candy Pink'' and the ''Salt Water Taffy'' Lindy’s sprays to add some color.

I painted the frame chipboard and the title words with the sparks ''Butterfly Spells'' acrylic paint. The pieces from the pattern chipboard were also painted with the sparks ''Mermaid Sparkle'' acrylic paint. All the chipboards I used are from Dusty Attic and the flowers are Prima Marketing.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and a little glitter.

Hope you enjoyed it!!

Thank you for your time...

''Dandelion Wishes'' - DT Mixed Media Card for Lindy's Stamp Gang with a VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hi there sweeties!

It’s Mary here with you today with my farewell post for Lindy's Stamp Gang. It has been one amazing year and I feel so honored for being a member of my dream team. Thank you so much Tracey and Kate for the wonderful collaboration but mainly thank you for your trust in me. You are such a kind and sweet ladies both of you. Love you!

But for now, let's take a look at how I made this gorgeous mixed media card
using Flat Fabio Sprays and Embossing Powders from Lindy’s.

For my card, I used papers from the 7dots Studio ''Cotton Candy'' collection. I started by covering my card with clear gesso. When dry, I applied modeling paste with a stencil.

I glued down some torn papers, tags and elements to give more interest to my card and I added more stenciling. Then, I colored the card by splattering it with Kissin' Kenickie Coral and Merci Beaucoup Mint sprays.

I heat embossed the chipboard with Cleopatra's Copper embossing powder.

I also heat embossed the Dandelions chipboards with the Desert Moon Turquoise embossing powder.

To finish, I made some splatters with white acrylic artists ink.

Here are some close-ups so you can see all the details.

I have also made a video tutorial with the procedure.

''Happy Birthday'' - DT Layout for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dear friends and Happy New Year to all!

At More Than Words challenge blog we celebrate our 2nd birthday and the challenge theme is about a birthday celebration.

 Word Inspiration - BIRTHDAY
 Creative Challenge - TAGS

The word inspiration BIRTHDAY brought to mind balloons, happiness and love. So, I made a page based on a photo of a woman on her birthday with lots of balloons and happiness. For the creative challenge, I used 2 TAGS layered behind my photo.

Here are some close ups of my layout...

The paper I used is the ''Sincerely'' from the 7dots Studio ''Writer's Blog'' collection.

To start, I covered my page with clear gesso. I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil and then, I heat embossed the pattern with the ''Angel Wings Gold'' Lindy's Gang embossing powder. Next, I used the ''south Shore Sand'' and the ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' Lindy’s sprays to color my page.

I painted all the chipboards with the Finnabair metallique ''Steampunk Copper'' acrylic paint. Then, I rubbed them with the ''Bronze Age'' wax. All the chipboards I used are 2Crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing.

When everything was glued down, I added some ''Copper'' glass glitter and ''Bronze'' micro beads. I finished my page by making some splatters with white gesso.

That was all from me my friends!
