''Our Story'' - DT Layout for Mixed Media & Art Blog December Moodboard

Hello dears!

Today, I'm up on the Mixed Media & Art with a new layout based on our January moodboard.

 The photos inspired me to create a dark but tender layout with the shades of my favorite black, grey, plum and white colors using lots of flowers and beautiful wood and metal elements. 
I have also used the sketch as a base for my page.

''Be Forever Joyous'' - DT Layout for Mixed Media & Art Blog December Moodboard

 

 Hello dears and welcome to my blog!

I hope your holiday is filled with nothing but joy. Today, I'm up on the Mixed Media & Art with a new layout based on our December moodboard.

This is our gorgeous moodboard...

 

The photos inspired me to create a festive wintery layout in white, blue and silver shades with lots of flowers and beautiful chipboards. I have also used the sketch as a base for my page.

I used the ''Mistletoe'' paper from the Yuletide 7Dots Studio collection for my background and I created texture with the Finnabair ''White Pearl'' icing paste and a stencil. I made a little stamping here and there and then I added color with the Finnabair Sparks ''Magical Pond'' acrylic paint.

 Next step was to color my Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair ''Silver Spoon'' and ''White Pearl'' acrylic paints. When everything was glued down I added art stones, beads and glitter.   

 The final touch was made by splattering my composition with white ink to make it look like it is snowy.

''Happiness is a Journey'' - DT Layout for Mixed Media & Art Blog November Moodboard

Hello dears!

 

I'm back tonight to share my latest layout for Mixed Media & Art blog which is based on our October moodboard. I loved the autumn colors and the magical feeling of the photos. 

And here is the moodboard...

I used the color palette, the birds and the flowers from the board to create my layout which I also based it on the sketch too.


I used a paper from the Fortune Teller 7dots Studio collection for my background and I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil. I made a little stamping here and there and next I added color with Lindy's Gang sprays. Next step was to color my Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair acrylic paints and a waxes.

''Embrace Beautiful Chaos'' - DT Layout for Mixed Media & Art Blog October Moodboard

Hello friends!

I'm back tonight to share my latest layout for Mixed Media & Art blog which is based on our October moodboard. A magical moodboard with such a mysterious feeling! When I first saw it I just wanted to make something with lots of mystery and magic. 

Just take a look and I'm sure you will love it too...

I got inspired by the colors, the butterflies, the stars and the magical feeling. I have also used the sketch to base my composition.

 I used a Maja Design paper for my background and I created some texture with some graphite paste and a stencil. I made a little stamping here and there and next I added color with a Lindy's Gang spray. Next step was to color my Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair acrylic paints and a waxes.

''Journey'' - DT Layout for Mixed Media & Art Blog September Moodboard

 

 

Hello dears!

Today I'm up on the Mixed Media & Art blog with my very first post as a member of this amazingly talented team. I'm so excited and I hope I'll give you some inspiration with my work!

Olya's moodboards are my most favorites! Truly inspirational with amazing sketches, textures and colors...

When I saw September's board I wanted to create an altered project. Don't know why cause it's not my usual style but I knew I had to give it a try. So I altered a frame... hope you'll like it...

I got my inspiration from the color palette, the textures and the elements. I tried to follow the sketch and I used the word Journey as my title too.

To create my project, I took a frame and I glued on it's cardboard some ''Metal Plates'' Dusty Attic chipboards. Then I made my cluster with chipboards and metal embellishments and covered everything with black gesso. Applied here and there stone effect pastes for more texture and then I used metallique paints and rust pastes from Finnabair to color my project.
