T'is the Season - A Christmas Tag for Maja Design

Hello everyone!!!

I'm up on the Maja Design blog today and I have a Christmas tag to share with you. This is my first project made with the brand new ''I Wiss'' collection and I have to say that I really loved it!!! These papers are simply amazing!!!

I used two papers for my background, the ''I wish those memories will last'' and for the second layer the ''I wish for frosty mornings''. I applied modeling paste with a stencil to create some texture. Then, I made some splatters with ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mist and some random stamping with a script stamp and ''Coffee'' Archival ink .

I heat embossed the title and the ''Corner Sweet Holly'' chipboard, which I cut in two pieces, with ''Midnight Bronze'' embossing powder and the little birds on it with ''King Midas Gold''. With the same powder I also embossed the ''Flower Chain'' chippie. The snowflakes were embossed with two powders, first with ''Silver Moon Turquoise'' and then with ''Golder Angel Wings''.

I made a floral frame with a die and the ''I wish for peace and joy'' paper and placed it on my cluster under my main flower. A little sisal, colored with the same mist I used before, completed my cluster. Some microbeads and glass glitter and my christmas tag was ready.

All the chipboards used were 2Crafty and the flowers were Prima Marketing.

My second project is these four ATC Cards made with several small chippies, Lindy's Stamp Gang mists and embossing powders and 7dots Studio Element Stickers from the ''Soulmates'' Collection.

I based my cards on the three following challenges... 7dots Studio, Lindy's Stamp Gang (I have named and linked all the products used below) and Scrapbooking.gr

And a closer look...

I made the background with a white cardstock colored with ''Bayou Boogie Gold'', ''Cocoa Bean Copper'' and ''Silent Night Silver'' Lindy's mists. I also made a little emboss on a script stamp with ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' embossing powder.

Then, I heat embossed the ''Interlocking Grid Panel'' with ''Midnight Copper'', the ''Steampunk Gears'' with ''Queen Seba's Silver'', the key and the lock from the ''Key Set Mini's'' and the small gears with ''Cafe 'au Lait'' and the ''Tiny Hearts and Butterfly'' chippies with ''Cleopatra's Copper''.

Hello my crafty friends!

Today I will share with you two projects and two video tutorials, I made for October Inspiration at 2Crafty Chipboard. 

 Well, lets get started with the first one, a special romandic layout made with the ''Dreamy'' paper from 7dots ''Homegrown'' collection and lots of Prima flowers.

I also have prepared a VIDEO TUTORIAL for you...

I based my layout on October challenges over at 7dots Studio and at More Than Words Challenge blog. The word ''Change'' reminded me how my life changed when I met my husband and especially when we started our journey together...

I used white gesso on my dark background paper to highlighted it and then I used ''Silent Night Silver'' and  ''Midnight Rendervous Raven'' Lindy's mist with a few splatters of ''White'' 13arts Splash ink to give it a little interest. 

I heat embossed the two ''Flourish Adornment'' pieces with ''Obviously Black'' Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder.

The ''Corner Swirly Heart'' and the ''Special Days'' title was also heat embossed with ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' powder.

''Believe'' - DT Layout for Maja Design

Hello my sweet friends!

Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog and I would like to share a new layout I made with papers from two collections... ''Enjoying outdoors'' and ''Vintage Summer Basics''.

When I found that beautiful photo on Pinterest I decided to use it for my new layout... It's so mysterious and so magical at the same time and I couldn't resist! Of course, I want to give all the proper credits to the photographer.

The green paper is the ''Beautiful trees'' from the ''Enjoying outdoors'' and the brown is the ''Minnen'' from the ''Vintage Summer Basics'' collections. I tore the brown one in the middle and glued it on the green paper. Have I ever tell you how much I love to tear and distress those papers? They look amazingly gorgeous that way!

I made my background by using modeling paste and a stencil over a coat of clear gesso. All the mediums I used are Finnabair's. This time, I prefered to play with magical powders (Red Hot Poker Orange, Cowbunga Copper and Cattail Copper Brown) from Lindy's Stamp Gang to color my page. I made my own mist with ''Ponderosa Pines Olive'' magical and misted the 2crafty chipboards.

I made my clusters with Prima Marketing flowers and I added some ''Scrap Unlimited'' embellishments to accomplish them.

Some splatters with white gesso, microbeads in ''copper'' to match with the earth colors and a few gems to finish my layout.
