''Believe'' - DT layout for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dears!

December is already here and at More Than Words blog we have the last challenge for 2018.

This is our challenge board...

Word Inspiration - BELIEVE
Creative Challenge - STAMPING

This time of the year is my favorite! You see, I do BELIEVE in Christmas. I believe in the magic of it just like I did when I was a little girl. For the creative challenge I used lots of STAMPS on my background with black ink. I wish that the magic of Christmas finds you and your loved ones during this holiday season and throughout the new year!

I used for my background the ''Wool'' paper from the 7dots Studio ''Homegrown'' collection.

I started by applying white gesso on the spot that I will make my composition. Then I created texture with the Finnabair ''Frosty Pearl'' Icing Paste and a stencil and when dried, I added some color with the Lindy's Gang ''Whale Watch Blue'' spray.

I painted the Dusty Attic chipboard ''Doodads #3'' and the frame from the ''String Frames Small'' with the Finnabair ''Silver Spoon'' acrylic paint.

When everything was glued down, I added art stones and some zinc glass beads.

That was all from me my friends!

Thank you so much for your time!

''Believe'' - DT Mixed Media Layout for Lindy's Stamp Gang with a VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hi there lovelies!

Today I'm up on the Lindy's Stamp Gang blog and I have my latest layout to share with you. I used some of my favorite Lindy’s sprays in green and brown tones and I really loved how it turned out that color combo!!!

To start, I added a layer of clear gesso on my paper. Then, I used modeling paste with a stencil to add texture to the background and I heat embossed the pattern with Spanish Moss Green embossing powder.

When it was ready, I started adding layers of the Edelweiss Moss Green and the Dark Chocolate Truffle sprays on my paper.

I heat embossed the pieces of the Viney Page Frame chipboards with the Oakleaf Olive embossing powder

The title and the Flower Doily chipboards were also heat embossed with the Bratwurst Brown powder.

When everything was glued down, I added some copper glass glitter & bronze micro beads and made some splashes with white acrylic artists ink.

Here are some close-ups so you can see all the details.

I have also made a video tutorial with the procedure.

''Believe'' - DT Layout for Maja Design

Hello my sweet friends!
Today, I'm up on Maja Design blog and I would like to share a new layout I made with papers from two collections... ''Enjoying outdoors'' and ''Vintage Summer Basics''.

When I found that beautiful photo on Pinterest I decided to use it for my new layout... It's so mysterious and so magical at the same time and I couldn't resist! Of course, I want to give all the proper credits to the photographer.

The green paper is the ''Beautiful trees'' from the ''Enjoying outdoors'' and the brown is the ''Minnen'' from the ''Vintage Summer Basics'' collections. I tore the brown one in the middle and glued it on the green paper. Have I ever tell you how much I love to tear and distress those papers? They look amazingly gorgeous that way!

I made my background by using modeling paste and a stencil over a coat of clear gesso. All the mediums I used are Finnabair's. This time, I prefered to play with magical powders (Red Hot Poker Orange, Cowbunga Copper and Cattail Copper Brown) from Lindy's Stamp Gang to color my page. I made my own mist with ''Ponderosa Pines Olive'' magical and misted the 2crafty chipboards.

I made my clusters with Prima Marketing flowers and I added some ''Scrap Unlimited'' embellishments to accomplish them.

Some splatters with white gesso, microbeads in ''copper'' to match with the earth colors and a few gems to finish my layout.
