''Celebrate This'' - DT Layout for Maja Design January-February Moodboard

Hello my dear friends!!!

 

Today, I have a new layout to share with you made for Maja's Design January-February Moodboard. 

A Celebration challenge as we celebrate our 10 years of Maja Design.

 

 

Here is the beautiful moodboard...

and, some detailed photos of my interpretation...

I used the ''All Dressed Up'' paper from the new gorgeous ''Celebration'' collection as the main paper for my background and I made some layers on it with the ''Jubilee'' using both sides of it and the ''Good Times'' papers. 

I primed my background with clear gesso and when it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I colored my page with the Finnabair sparks ''Butterfly Spells'' acrylic paint.

 

 I painted the ''Boho Feathers'' chipboards with the Finnabair sparks ''Iris Potion'' acrylic paint. The ''ATC Frame #7'' and the title chipboards were also painted with the sparks ''Raven Black'' paint. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic and the flowers are Prima Marketing and some of them are from Petalloo.

 To finish, I added some Licorice and Crystal glass beads along with some sequins. I've also sprinkle a little glitter too.

''Learning to Fly'' - DT Layout for Maja Design October Moodboard

Hello my dear friends!!!

 

I have a new layout to share with you today made for Maja's Design October Moodboard.

 

 

Here is the beautiful moodboard...

 

 

 

and, some detailed photos...

 

I used the ''Stonewashed'' paper from the ''Denim & Friends'' collection as the main paper for the background and I made two layers on the lower half of it, first with the ''Summer Shirt'' and then with the ''Leather'' papers.

  I primed my background with clear gesso and when it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I colored my page using Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' and ''Whale Watch Blue''.

 

I heat embossed the ''Elegant Flourish'' chipboard with ''Midnight Sapphire'' Lindy’s Stamp Gang embossing powder. I also heat embossed the metal embellishments with the ''Bratwurst Brown'' powder. The chipboard I used is 2Crafty and the metal embellishments are Scrap-Unlimited. The flowers are Prima Marketing and some of them are from Petalloo.

 

To finish, I added some bronze microbeads.

''So Much Love... Our Story'' - DT Mixed Media Tags for Lindy's Stamp Gang with a VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hi there sweeties! 

 

Today, I'm up on the Lindy's Stamp Gang blog and I’m going to share with you two mixed media tags.

For my tags, I used papers from the 7dots Studio ”Writers Block” collection and I cut them with a sizzix die. I started by giving them a coat of clear gesso and then, I applied modeling paste to the dark tag with a stencil. For the white tag, I mixed modeling paste mixed with ”Dark Chocolate Truffle” magical and I applied the mixture on the tag through a stencil.

I colored the tags by splattering them with Dark Chocolate Truffle and  Steampunk Sepia sprays.

I heat embossed the chippies from the ”Mini Hexagon Clumps” and the ”Mini Flourish Bits” that I used on the dark tag with the Golden Angel Wings embossing powder.

The chippies I used on the white tag were heat embossed with the Bratwurst Brown powder.

 When everything was glued down, I added some bronze micro beads with gel medium and made some splashes with white acrylic artists ink. The ribbons I tied on the tags were colored with the same sprays I used on the tags.

''Holiday'' - DT Layout for Maja Design June Inspiration

Hello my dear friends and happy Sunday to all!!!

Today, I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I want to share with you my latest layout feauturing the ''Summetime'' collection.

A layout in blue and earth tones that was inspired by the beautiful photo which I found on Pinterest. And, before I continue I want to give all the proper credits to the ''unknown'' photographer.

I used as the main paper for my background the ''Wind in my Hair'' and I made another layer on it with a torn piece of the backside of the ''Is my Favourite'' paper. Then, I matted my photo with the leftover torn pieces from the ''Is my Favourite'' paper.

I gave my background a coat of clear gesso and when it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I heat embossed the paterm with ''Cafe' au Lait'' Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder. Next was to color my page with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays ''Cattail Copper Brown'' and ''Bluebeard Blue Violet''.

I heat embossed the title and the ''Moroccan Bits'' chipboards with the ''Bratwurst Brown'' Lindy’s embossing powder. All the chipboards I used are 2crafty and the flair is Cuts2luv.

 To finish my page, I added some art stones with gel medium and made some splatters with white ink.
