''Dream'' - A DT Layout for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

Hello my scrapy friends!

Today, I want to share with you two layouts and two video tutorials, I made for January Inspiration at 2Crafty Chipboard. 

 The first layout was designed with 7dots studio papers from the 

''Thoughts Keeper'' collection, Petaloo flowers and Scrap Unlimited embellishments.

 I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure.

To design my background I used modeling paste with a stencil. When dried, I colored the background with ''Greased Lightnin' Green'', ''Rusty Lantern Lime'' and ''Edelweiss Moss Green'' Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and made a few splatters of ''White'' 13arts Splash ink.

 I heat embossed the ''Angie's Vines'' chipboards with ''Oakleaf Olive'' Lindy's powder. The little key and the key lock chippies from the ''Key Set Mini's'' and the title were also embossed with ''Spring Leaf Chartreuse''.

When everything were glued down, I added some microbeads in ''Bronze'' with gel medium.

''Delight'' - DT Layout for Maja Design

Hello my dear friends!!!

Today I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I have a new layout to share with you using papers from the beautiful ”Vintage Summer Basic” collection.

In this layout I tried to give you a cozy sense using this beautiful photo found on Pinterest, which reminds me relaxed Sundays mornings. There is nothing better than having a hot cup of coffee lying in your comfortable couch. Don't you think?

But, before I continue I want to give all the proper credits to the photographer.

For my background, I used the ”1903” paper and I made some layers behind my photo with the ”1912”  and the ”1932” papers using both sides of the last one. I also placed some torn pieces from the pages fo an old book.

First, I gave my paper a coat of clear gesso and then I applied some white gesso. When dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I used Lindy’s Stamp Gang mists, ”Cocoa Bean Copper” and ”Sassy Sapphire” with some water to make a watercolor effect.

I heat embossed the title words with ”Byzantine Bronze” and the small border chipboard pieces with ''Cafe au lait''. The chipboards I used are 2crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing. The metal embellishments are ”Scrap Unlimited” and the flair is ''Cuts2luv''.

As a final touch, I added some mica flakes in ''Henna'' and made some splatters with 13arts white gesso.

''Unforgettable Love'' - DT Layout for Words and Paintery

 

Hello my friends!

Today, I have my latest layout to share with you, made for Words and Paintery January Challenge. I loved the colours of the moodboard and the quote inspired me to make a romantic and nostalgic layout.

I used the ''Blue Roses'' paper from the 13arts ''Aura Rosa'' collection. Flowers are Petaloo, the chipboards are 2Crafty and the title is 13arts. I also used 13arts mediums, sprays, white splash inks and natural mica flakes. Embossing powders are Lindy's Stamp Gang and embellishments from Scrap Unlimited.

''Cherished Moments'' - DT Layout for Maja Design

Hello my friends and happy Sunday to all!!!

Today I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I have a new layout to share with you which is featuring the beautiful ”I Wish” collection. I really love these papers because although it is a Christmas collection can easily be used in non-Christmas pages. Take for example mine... 

This time I made a soft romantic page with this beautiful photo, which as always found on Pinterest.  And, before I continue I want to give all the proper credits to the photographer.

For my background, I used the ”I wish to play in the Snow” paper and I made some layers behind my photo with the ”I wish you a Happy new Year”  and the ''I wish for frosty mornings'' papers. I also placed some pieces from an old book and made a fussy cutting on some vintage clocks from the Vintage Autumn Basics ''No XVI'' paper.  

First, I gave my paper a coat of clear gesso and then I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. I heat embosed the paste with ''Golden Angel Wings'' Lindy's powder to make the texture more obvious. Then, I used Lindy’s Stamp Gang mists, ”Cowabunga Copper” and ”Cape Cod Coral” with some water to make a watercolor effect. 

I heat embossed the floral chipboards and the title with ”Byzantine Bronze”. All the chipboards I used are 2crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing. The metal embellishments are ”Scrap Unlimited”.

As a final touch, I added some bronze microbeads and some Prima Memory Hardware - Glass Pearls.
