''Amaze Yourself'' - DT Layout for Maja Design

Hello my friends and Happy Sunday to all!!!

Today I'm hosting the Maja Design blog with my latest layout featuring the beautiful ''Vintage Autumn Basics'' collection.

The photo I found on Pinterest made wanna design a mysterious and dramatic layout. Before I start I want to give to the photographer all the proper credits for that awesome photo.

For my background, I used two papers. The ''no.VII'' as the main one and a torn piece of the ''no.XVIII'' which I glued it above the other.

I gave texture to my background with modeling paste and a stencil. I used Lindy's Stamp Gang mists, the ''Cocoa Bean Copper'', ''Lucky Shamrock Green'', the ''Endelweis Moss Green'' to color the spot where I placed my cluster. Some splatters with ''Midnight Randervous Raven'' and a little stamping completed my background.

I heat embossed the ''Amaze yourself'' title with ''Midnight Pewter'' lindy's powder and the ''Skeleton Clock Frame'' with ''Midnight Copper''. The ''Viney page frame'', (from which I used only some pieces), was sprayed with ''Endelweis Moss Green'' mist. All the chipboards I used were 2Crafty.

I made my clusters with Prima Marketing flowers and I added some ”Scrap Unlimited” embellishments to accomplish them.

Some splatters with white gesso and microbeads in ”copper” to match with the earth colors to finished my layout.

 The second layout of my November Inspiration for 2Crafty Chipboards was made for C.S.I. Blog as the 2Crafty was sponsoring them and we were invited as guest designers for October.

With this layout I'm entering at The Creative Studio November Challenge.

And a closer look...

I highlighted my paper with some white gesso and then I used white modeling paste and a little black with different stencils to make contrast. I created my background with ''Peony Scarlet Red'' and ''Ocean Breeze Blue'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

I painted the ''Dream Big'' title, the ''Stars'' and the mini camera from the ''Mini Camera Set'' chippies with ''Rich Turquoise'' Acrylic Paint. The frames from ''Polaroid Assortment Frames'' were painted with ''Aqua-Rose'' Paint.

 The ''Gears'' were stamped with ''Watering Can'' Archival Ink and the big square frame which is a left over piece from the ''Polaroid Assortment Frames'' were heat embossed with ''Tera Cotta Red'' Lindy's powder. ''Vintage Rose'' Acrylic Paint for the square left over piece.

''Joy - Hope - Wish'' - A Layout for 2Crafty Chipboard with a Video Tutorial

Hello my crafty friends!

Today I will share with you two layouts and two video tutorials, I made for November Inspiration at 2Crafty Chipboard. 

The first one is a Christmasy layout designed with 7dots studio papers from ''Yuletide'' collection and Prima Marketing flowers.

I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure.

I based my layout on November challenges over at 7dots Studio, at Berry71bleu and at More Than Words Challenge blogs. I used for something old the paper collection from last year, for something new a flair and the color blue.

To design my background I used ''Ocean Breeze Blue'', ''Baby Blue Eyes Aqua'' and ''Delphinium Turquoise'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists with a few splatters of ''White'' 13arts Splash ink to make it look like it's snowy.

I heat embossed the ''Festive Music Notes'' and the ''Stars'' chipboards
with ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' Lindy's powder and sprinkled them with some finnabair's white glitter. The titles were painted with ''Metallique Rich Turquoise'' Acrylic Paint.

 I also added Finnabair's Graphite paste for more texture.

A final touch with some more white splatters and my snowy background was ready.

''Cherish'' - DT Layout for Maja Design

Hello my friends and welcome to my blog today!

This my second christmasy project for Maja Desing, using the ''I wish'' collection and this time I made a layout. I can't believe that we are already so close to Christmas... I love that season and I'm full with the Christmas spirit! And, that beautiful photo from pinterest was just perfect for the layout I had in my mind... of course, I want to give all the proper credits to the photographer.

 I used the ''I wish those memories will last'' as my main paper and I torn it vertical on the left side. I placed under it, three layers of two papers, one from the same paper, one from the backside of the same paper and lastly one of the ''I wish for frosty mornings''.  Among the papers Ι added some lace and a few pieces of doilies.

I designed my background with modeling paste and a stencil over a coat of clear gesso.  I colored it with ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' and ''Clam Bake Beige'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.  I also made splatters with white 13arts Splash ink to highlight it a little bit. When dried I made some random stamping and the background was ready to glue everything down.

 I heat embossed the chipboards with two powders, first with the ''Desert Moon Copper Pine'' and then with the ''Cafe au Lait''.  All the chipboards I used are 2crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing.

 As a final touch, I added some mica flakes in ''Henna'' and some ''Melange Art Pebbles''.
