The
photos inspired me to create a dark but tender layout with the shades of my favorite black, grey, plum and white colors using lots of flowers and beautiful wood and metal elements. I have
also used the sketch as a base for my page.
I hope I gave you some inspiration and see you on our challenge!
I'm back tonight to share a new layout with a video tutorial made for my January inspiration over at the Dusty Attic and on the Maja Design
blogs.
To create it I used some of my favorite
chipboards which I placed around a beautiful photo I found on Pinterest. When I saw it I
knew I had to scrap it and the Dusty Attic chipboards along with Maja Design papers were just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.
You can watch all the procedure here...
I choose for my page the ''Worn Indigo'' paper from the Maja Design ''Denim & Friends'' collection. I started by applying a coat of clear gesso on the background and then I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil.
Made some stamping here and there and used a Lindy's Gang spray to add color.
Next, I painted all the chipboards starting with the ''Skeleton Clock Faces'' frame which was painted with the Finnabair Silver Spoon acrylic paint. The piece from the ''Leafy Frame set #2'' and the chippies from the ''Foliage #8'' were also painted with the Finnabair Rustic Brown paint.
When everything was glued down I added some art stones and glass beads. The final touch was made with some splatters with white acrylic ink.
I'm back tonight to share with
you my new layout with a video tutorial made for 7Dots Studio. Since January has started with a lot of snow and very low
temperature here in Greece I was inspired to create a wintry layout in
grey, white and red tones.
Here you can watch the process...
And here are some close ups...
For my layout, I used papers from the gorgeous Yuletide collection and
combined them with stencil, stamps and word stickers from various
collections.
Today, I'm sharing with you my layout for 7Dots Studio which is based on our beautiful
moodboard.
I got inspired by the gorgeous wintery photos and I used the color
combination which was so perfect for my mystery wintery page.
For my layout, I choose to work with the Homegrown collection and I used two
papers to base my composition, the Dreamy and the Wool.
I
started by applying clear gesso on my background and then I
created texture with the Finnabair ''Frosty Pearl'' Icing Paste and a stencil. When dried, I added
some color with the Lindy's Gang ''Whale Watch Blue'' and the ''Afternoon Delight Denim'' sprays.
I painted the Dusty Attic chipboard ''Mystic Frame #2'' with the Finnabair ''White Pearl'' acrylic paint.
I hope you have had a wonderful
holidays and I'm wishing you the new year to bring you all the joy and
happinessthat youdesire.
Today, I'm sharing with you my layout for the first challenge of 2019 over at More Than Words blog.
This is our challenge board...
Word Inspiration - GOALS Creative Challenge - JOURNALING
The word GOALS inspired me to create a layout with the things I want
to do for myself in 2019. I want to find more free time for me and to do
things I love more. I hope I can get there. For the creative challenge I
added some sticker phrases as my JOURNALING.
For my background I used the ''Knitted'' paper from the 7dots Studio ''Northern Lights'' collection.
I
started by applying clear gesso on the paper. Then, I
created texture with the Finnabair ''Frosty Pearl'' Icing Paste and a stencil and when dried, I added
some color with the Lindy's Gang ''Open Arms Amethyst'' spray.
I painted the Dusty Attic chipboard ''Doodads #7'' Finnabair ''White Pearl'' acrylic paint.
The ''Ginkgo Biloba'' chippies were also painted with the Finnabair ''Ice Queen'' paint.
When everything was glued down, I added art stones and made splatters with white ink.
That was all from me my friends!
