''Memories'' - DT Altered Box for The Dusty Attic Blog June Moodboard

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic blog and I would like to share my project created for the gorgeous June moodboard.

The elegant vintage feeling of the photos inspired me to create an altered box with lots of chipboards along with some flowers, laces and beautiful femine elements.

And some detailed photos...

To start, I covered the box with white gesso and then I applied some white crackle paste here and there. Also added some white sand paste for more texture.

Continued by coloring with the ''Sandra Dee Sepia'', the ''Steampunk Sepia'' and the ''Gag Me With a Spoon Gray'' Lindy's Gang sprays until I got the desired result.

I colored all the chipboards with the ''Rustic Brown'' acrylic paint and I gently rubbed some ''Brushed Iron'' wax on them.

I added some art stones and I finished it off by rabbing some waxes to highlight some spots.

''Picture Perfect'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog

Hello everyone!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic blog and I have a new summery layout to share. Since summer has already come I wanted to make a fresh and earthy page with lots of flowers, some of my favorite chipboards and laces.

For my background I used the ''Sunrise'' paper from the Dreamscapes 7dots Sudio collection. I started by applying clear gesso on the background and added texture with a stencil and some paper paste.

When dried, I added color with ''Peony Scarlet Red'' Lindy's Gang spray and made some splatters with white gesso diluted with water to soften a little bit the colors.

I heat embossed the ''Decorative Frame #1'' and the ''ATC Frame #7'' chipboards with the ''Sunset Yellow Orange'' Lindy's embossing powder.

The chipboard title ''Picture Perfect'' and the ''Flutterbies #3'' chipboard were also embossed with the ''Pumpkin Fiesta'' Lindy's powder.

When everything was glued down I added some art stones and made some more splatters with white gesso.

''This Fills my Heart'' - DT Layout for Maja Design June Inspiration

Hello everyone!

Tonight I'm up on the Maja Design blog and I would like to share with you a layout for my June inspiration. And for one more time, I made a colorful page with lots of flowers, chipboards and IOD moulds. The color combination I used is one of my favorite and I think it suits perfectly on the soft Maja Design papers. Don't you think?

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that photo. And, the beautiful papers from the ”Denim & Friends” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the back side of the ”Fashion” paper. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with paper texture paste and a stencil.

I used some Lindy's Gang sprays to color my pages and made some stamping here and there.

I heat embossed the ”Mystic Frame #2” flourish chipboard with the ”Gutten Tag Teal” Lindy's powder.  The title chipboard was also embossed with the ”Yodeling Yellow” powder and then, I covered it with the ''White Gold'' wax. I randomly rubbed the same wax on the flourish chipboard and on the moulds too. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and I made the final touch with some splatters with white ink.

I was inspired by the colors combination which is one of my favorites and I've also used the sketch to built my page.

''Such a Great Day to Remember'' - DT Layout for Maja Design June Moodboard

Hello dear friends!!!

Today, I have a new layout to share made for Maja's Design June Moodboard.

The beautiful colors and those gorgeous photos inspired me to create a soft romantic page with lots of flowers, chipboards and IOD moulds.

Here are some close ups...

I used the ''The elegant Winehouse'' paper and made a layer on it with the back side of the ''The magnificent Flowerstreet'' paper from the gorgeous ''Sofiero'' collection.

To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso on my papers. When it was dried, I added some texture with paper paste and a stencil. I made some stamping here and there and continued by coloring my page with the ''Whale Watch Blue'' Lindy's spray.

I painted the ''Swirly Frame'' flourish chipboard and the title word with the Finnabair ''Ice Queen” acrylic paint. When dried I randomly wrapped some ''White Gold'' wax. The chipboards I used are from Dusty Attic.

The moulds were also wrapped with ''White Gold'' and ''Blue Velvet'' waxes.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and some blue glitter and made the final touch with some splatters with white ink.

''Journey'' - DT Canvas for More Than Words Challenge Blog

Hello dears!

First month of summer starts today and at More Than Words challenge blog we have a new challenge.

Word Inspiration - JOURNEY
Creative Challenge - MAP

The word inspiration JOURNEY brings to my mind a lot of things and to be honest I couldn't decide which one to use. After a lot of brainstorming, I decided to make a vintage canvas. So I chose a photo of an old compass and a map which represents to me the journey of generations from the past until now.
For the creative challenge I have used the MAP on the photo.

Here are some close ups...

To start, I covered the canvas with clear gesso. Then, I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil and applied some white crackle paste here and there.

I added color with the ''Dark Chocolate Truffle'' Lindy's Gang spray. Then, I made a little random stamping and heat embossed the pattern with the ''Midnight Bronze'' Lindy's powder.

I used the Finnabair ''Rustic Brown'' acrylic paint to color the ''Clockworks Small'' and the ''Industrial Border #3'' chipboards. The pieces from the ''Perforated Mesh'' chipboard were also painted with the ''Steampunk Copper'' acrylic paint. All the chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some copper glass glitter, plum glass beads and bronze micro beads and made some splatters with white acrylic ink.

That was all from me my friends!

Don't forget to step over the blog to gain more inspiration!
Thank you so much for your time!
