''Be Forever Joyous'' - DT Layout for Mixed Media & Art Blog December Moodboard

 

 Hello dears and welcome to my blog!

I hope your holiday is filled with nothing but joy. Today, I'm up on the Mixed Media & Art with a new layout based on our December moodboard.

This is our gorgeous moodboard...

 

The photos inspired me to create a festive wintery layout in white, blue and silver shades with lots of flowers and beautiful chipboards. I have also used the sketch as a base for my page.

I used the ''Mistletoe'' paper from the Yuletide 7Dots Studio collection for my background and I created texture with the Finnabair ''White Pearl'' icing paste and a stencil. I made a little stamping here and there and then I added color with the Finnabair Sparks ''Magical Pond'' acrylic paint.

 Next step was to color my Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair ''Silver Spoon'' and ''White Pearl'' acrylic paints. When everything was glued down I added art stones, beads and glitter.   

 The final touch was made by splattering my composition with white ink to make it look like it is snowy.

''Wish'' - DT Layout for The Dusty Attic Blog December Moodboard

Hello lovely friends!

I hope you are enjoying your holidays! Today, I'm back with a new layout based on the Dusty Attic December moodboard. I have used some of  the new christmasy chipboards which are so amazing!

The moodboard is so soft and beautiful and inspired me to create a Christmasy layout in grey, teal and silver colors. 

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that amazing photo. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

 I used the ''Gingerbread'' paper from the Yuletide 7Dots Studio collection for my background and I created texture by applying Finnabair ''Old silver'' icing paste through a stencil. Then, I added color with the Finnabair Sparks ''Mermaid Sparkle'' acrylic paint.

I painted the ''Scroll Set #2'' and the title word chipboards from the ''Mini Words #1'' set with the Finnabair Sparks ''Mermaid Sparkle'' acrylic paint.

The ''Poinsettia Small'' and the ''Christmas Postmarks'' chippies were also painted with the Finnabair ''Silver Spoon'' paint.

When everything was glued down I added some art stones and made splatters with white ink.

''#adorable'' - DT Layout with ***VIDEO TUTORIAL*** for The Dusty Attic and Maja Design December Inspiration

Merry Christmas my dear friends!!!

May all the sweet magic of Christmas conspire to gladden your heart and fill every desire you have!

Today, I'm up on the Dusty Attic and on the Maja Design blogs with a new layout with a video tutorial made for my December inspiration.
A soft christmasy page with lots of gorgeous chipboards and flowers combined with some beautiful Maja Design papers.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that amazing photo. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.
 

 For my background, I used papers from the new gorgeous ''Christmas Season'' collection. My main paper is the ''Greeting Cards'' and I made a layer on it with the ''Mistletoe Green'' paper. Behind my photo I used the ''Mistletoe Green'', the ''Trim the Tree'' and the ''Greeting Cards'' papers to add some layers.

 

I started by applying a coat of clear gesso on the background paper and then I used the Finnabair ''White Gold'' icing paste with a stencil to create texture. I made some stamping here and there and I used the Lindy's Gang ''Clam Bake Beige'', ''Sea Grass Green'' and the ''Mission Bells Brown'' sprays to add color.

Next step was to paint all the chipboards. I started with the ''Skeleton Clock Face 6x6'', the first layer from the ''Layered Garland'' and the ''Scroll Set #2'' which were painted with the Finnabair Steampunk Copper acrylic paint. The ''Holly Flourish #2'' chippies were painted with the Finnabair Fairy Wings paint.

The ''Poinsettia Small'', the title word from the ''Hashtag Sayings #2'' and the second layer from the ''Layered Garland'' were also painted with the Finnabair Unicorn's Hair paint.

 

 

When everything was glued down I added some glass glitter and beads.

Γεια σας φίλοι μου και καλές γιορτές σε όλους εύχομαι!

Είμαι και πάλι μαζί σας για να μοιραστώ την τελευταία μου δημιουργία. Καθώς τα Χριστούγεννα είναι πλέον πολύ κοντά μας σκέφτηκα να δημιουργήσω μία χριστουγεννιάτικη σύνθεση βασισμένη στο mood board αυτού του μήνα.

I'm back today to share with you my latest creation. Christmas is so close and being inspired by our mood board, I decided to create a festive centerpiece!

Πήρα λοιπόν δύο βάσεις για ρεσώ και δύο ξύλινα δεντράκια και αφού τα διακόσμησα τα κόλλησα πάνω σε μια παλιά πιατέλα την οποία είχα καλύψει με χιόνι χειροτεχνίας.

For my project I used a couple of tea light holders and two wooden little trees. I decorated all the pieces and glued them on a plate which I had already covered with craft snow.

 Αρχικά πέρασα τις επιφάνειες από όλα μου τα υλικά με δύο στρώσεις λευκό γκέσσο. Στο εσωτερικό από τις βάσεις άπλωσα λίγο soft gloss gel και πασπάλισα glass glitter μέχρι να καλυφτεί όλη η μέσα επιφάνεια.

As a first step, I applied two coats of white gesso to all the elements of my composition. On the inside of the tea light holders, I applied soft gloss gel and then sprinkled glass glitter to cover the whole inner surface.

Έπειτα έβαψα την έξω επιφάνεια με την Frosty Pearl Icing Paste της Finnabair και όταν στέγνωσε πρόσθεσα σε κάποια σημεία Snowflake Paste. Πρόσθεσα λίγο χρώμα σε χρυσούς τόνους με sprays και έπειτα έφτιαξα τα clusters στην πλαϊνή όψη από τις βάσεις. 

Then, I painted the outside with Finnabair Frosty Pearl Icing Paste. In some areas, I also used Snowflake Paste, added some golden glimpse with sprays and created the clusters all around the holders. 

 

Χρησιμοποίησα λίγο γκέσσο για να δώσω μια χιονισμένη εντύπωση και πασπάλισα με πολύ glitter για περισσότερη λάμψη. 

I used some white gesso to give everything a snowy look and sprinkled lots of glitter to create lot of sparkle.

 

Στα δεντράκια άπλωσα και πάλι snowflake paste και έριξα από πάνω πριν στεγνώσει λευκό glitter. Έφτιαξα και πάλι τα clusters και όπως και στις βάσεις έβαλα λίγο gesso και πασπάλισα και πάλι με glitter.

I used the same technique to decorate the little trees, with snowflake paste, glitter and white gesso. 

Όταν λοιπόν είχα τελειώσει με όλα τα στοιχεία τα κόλλησα με ζεστή σιλικόνη στην πιατέλα και ανάμεσά τους έβαλα χιόνι μέχρι να καλύψω όλη την επιφάνεια και τελείωσα στολίζοντας τις δύο μπροστινές γωνίες με χριστουγεννιάτικα στοιχεία και καρπούς.   

When all the elements were ready, I glued them on the plate with hot glue. I covered the plate’s surface with craft snow and decorated with pine cones and leaves.

''Merry & Joyous'' - DT Card for More Than Words Mini Challenge

Hello dears!

Today, I'm back to share with you a card made for the More Than Words Mini Challenge.

The word of this month's challenge couldn't be anything else but ''Merry''.

 Some close ups...

For my card I used the ''Knitted'' paper from the Northern Lights 7Dots Studio collection.

  To start, I applied I coat of clear gesso on the papers. Then, I made some mixed media on the background with the Finnabair ''Frosty Pearl'' Icing paste and a stencil and also made some stamping here and there.

I used the ''Pearl'' and the ''Levander'' Metallic paints from Fabrika Decoru to add some color with extra shine. These paints are simply amazing!!!

I finished it up by adding art stones, ''Silver'' micro beads, ''Licorice'' glass beads and lots of white glitter.
